Unlike a lot of nerf bars, these bars have built-in dropped side steps, enabling you and your passengers to enter and exit your truck with ease. The side steps themselves feature cleated step plates, providing a secure foothold. Moreover, these nerf bars are designed to mount close to your undercarriage, helping to prevent damage to your rocker panels.

      Heavy-Duty Fabrication. Smittybilt 3-Inch Round Wheel-to-Wheel Black Nerf Side Step Bars are fabricated from heavy-duty, 3-inch, tubular steel. Each nerf bar is machine-formed and built as a single unit with the mounting brackets, side steps, and cleated step plates all fully-welded onto the bars for added strength. The ends of these nerf bars are also welded shut, so there’s no end cap to worry about. Lastly, these nerf side step bars receive a specialized black powder-coat finish for maximum rust protection.

      Trouble-Free Install Procedure. Smittybilt 3-Inch Round Wheel-to-Wheel Black Nerf Side Step Bars are designed to mount on factory locations on your truck. Some drilling of a couple of holes may be needed depending on the model of your truck. Other than this step, installation is pretty trouble-free that uses just standard hand tools.
