This module combines the duties of multiple transmission components into one hydraulic and electronic part, simplifying the diagnostic and repair process. The TEHCM is the central brain of the transmission, aiding in shift points, line pressure, and general functionality; when it malfunctions, the transmission is usually thrown into “limp” mode, rendering your Silverado nearly undrivable. If you suspect a faulty TEHCM is causing you grief, opt to replace it with this quality, Remanufactured Transmission Electro-Hydraulic Control Module.
