In fact, this kit can be installed in both long and short truck beds and will work with virtually all kinds of accessories, from racks to tonneau covers.
Brilliant LED Bulbs. The LED light boxes that come with this kit are equipped with six 1-watt LED bulbs each for a total output of 48 watts. This setup produces approximately 4,320 raw lumens of brilliant white light to render your truck bed and its contents completely visible. This factor makes this kit ideal for a wide range of applications, from nighttime cargo runs to camping trips.
Brawny Build Quality. This kit’s LED light boxes feature clear lenses and black housings injection-molded from high-quality automotive-grade plastic, offering exceptional durability and resistance to deterioration. Furthermore, these light boxes are sealed to conform to the IP68 water resistance rating, delivering superior performance in any weather. What’s more, the light boxes are connected by high-quality wiring that’s both strong and flexible for extreme resistance to breakage.
Simple Install Procedure. Installing these bed rail lights is a fairly simple process as this kit includes double-sided adhesive pads. Before installation, it is advised to first thoroughly clean and dry mounting surfaces before wiping down with a clean rag moistened with alcohol or acetone. Please note that some wiring work and possible drilling may be necessary to tap the wiring into your truck’s electrical system.
