Cooper Discoverer STT Pro Mud-Terrain Tire (33" - 305/55R20)

For Serious Off-Roading. Cooper Tire has developed the Discoverer STT Pro for light trucks to provide the best possible traction in mud and soft terrain with acceptable on-road noise levels and handling characteristics. The aggressive tread pattern is ideal for soft and damp surfaces and is designed to self-clean mud and eject small rocks. 

Don’t Mess with this Tread. Beginning with a compound that is chip and tear-resistant, the tires are molded into a tread pattern with large voids to maximize surface area and traction. The shoulder pattern alternates with cleats and scoops and works with the deep tread to grip when operating in mud and difficult terrain. These tires have dimples to help release mud and grooves that help to eject and not trap small rocks that can cause punctures. Hydroplaning is a concern when using off-road tires, and Cooper has incorporated wide channels and additional biting edges for improved grip in slippery conditions. 

Built to Last. The Discoverer STT Pro tires use Cooper's Armor-Tek3 Construction technology, which features a 3-ply polyester casing to handle puncture resistance. Two wide, strong steel belts support the tread and are reinforced by a single nylon cap ply.

Warranty.  Cooper offers several warrantied aspects of their tires: A uniformity warranty ensures even tread wear for the first 2/32 inches of wear. A workmanship and materials warranty lasts for 6 years and provides a free replacement during the first 2/32 inches of wear, then prorated until only 2/32 inches tread depth remains on the tires. Finally, Cooper offers a special manufacturer warranty, and a 45-day road test, during which time these can be exchanged for another Cooper brand tire if you are not satisfied.

Application.  These tires are suitable for trucks especially for off-road use. They are not recommended for extended on-road use in winter on packed snow and ice. An alignment is recommended to maximize longevity and promote even tread wear.
