Specifically, this lighting assembly will function as a brake, reverse, hazard, and sequential turn signal light as well as a running light. These factors work to greatly increase rear-facing visibility, thus improving road safety.
Specialized LED Light Source. This tailgate light bar is powered by high-quality 3mm LED bulbs. These bulbs are engineered to produce more vivid lighting, compared to conventional LED chips, but in a smaller package. This smaller form allows the bulbs to fit into a tighter space. What’s more, these bulbs generate red, white, and amber-colored light when a specific function is activated. This factor can help make the various functions more visible to other motorists.
Rugged Build Quality. This tailgate light bar assembly is equipped with a shatter-resistant clear lens and black housing made from a high-quality polymer material. Additionally, this material is precision-formed, offering an exact fit when installed. Furthermore, the lens and housing are completely sealed, providing reliable performance in any weather.
Efficient Install Procedure. Installing this tailgate light bar is a fairly efficient process as it comes preinstalled with automotive-grade double-sided adhesive backing tape. Before mounting, it is a good idea to thoroughly clean and dry the install locations, after which you wipe down the area with a clean rag moistened with alcohol or acetone. This is to maximize the adhesion of the tape with your vehicle. This lighting assembly also comes with a connector-designed plug into your truck’s trailer outlet for power. Alternatively, you can hard-wire the connector into your system if you want a more permanent install.
