This kit's rear-view camera comes equipped with an optically clear lens that's highly resistant to scratches and deterioration, making sure you get consistently clear images. The included door handle assembly for its part is molded to factory specifications from high-quality automotive-grade plastic, offering outstanding durability. What's more, the door handle is available in a black surface finish that matches the factory look but is more than capable of being re-painted.

      Straightforward Install Procedure. This rear view camera kit is installed in your GMC Sierra 1500's tailgate using factory locations. Installation won’t require any modifications such as drilling or trimming. That said, some wiring is necessary to make sure the camera is working properly. Minor assembly is also necessary before installation. Also, if you’re considering painting the door handle before installation, it is suggested that you do this before assembly and installation.
