This 50 cal antenna is so much cooler looking than the old antenna. Reception compared to previous antenna is negligible so no issues there. Only took a couple of minutes to install

Cool accessory
It doesn't get the greatest reception, at least for me I live in the country. It does its job though, I got it for the looks, hated that 3 foot tall stock antenna. I usually plug my phone in or Sirius XM. Overall though nice product, easy install.

This is the one!
If you are looking for a replacement for that factory whip antenna on you newer Sierra and are tired of going to auto parts stores and buying one, only to have to return it because it doesn’t fit….then look no further. This will install in the factory well with no modifications needed other than screwing on the correct adapter for the truck (supplied in with the antenna). It looks great and installs in less than a minutes with only your hands….unless you need a wrench to remove the factory one. Definitely better than having the bullet antenna everyone else has on their truck….reception is great and I have not noticed any loss of signal strength.
