fathers day gift
My husband is veteran with some disability issues and got a newer truck and had to have running boards for easier entry, he loves them and the fact that they are 6 inches wide helps with his footing. My daughter and I ordered them as a surprise. Thank you

iStep review
I like them but they are too light weight &/or don't have enough bracing considering they go wheel to wheel. If you step on them at the rear to look into the bed or toolbox they flex/sag a considerable amount worrying me that they might get a permanent kink or bend in them.

Side Boards with a Clean Look
The side boards look very sleek and clean. They are also slip resistant when wet. They are not as easy to install as other side boards I have had. They require a lot of half tightening and adjusting, which is both tiring and time consuming, and ultimately frustrating. The height of the side boards when installed is only slightly lower than the truck itself so it does not provide much help to those who struggle to climb into the truck in the first place.

Classic and simple
I wanted a sleek look to my all black Ram. I also wanted wheel to wheel so I could step up and look into the bed of the truck from the side. Also, I am a 5'5" tall woman who has to dress up for work, sometimes in heels, and didn't want something that my feet could possibly get stuck on. There is a little wiggle room to slide the boards into the exact place that you want. It was a nice surprise the find. I would highly recommend them for a clean, classic look, that doesn't over shadow the truck.

Full Width Running Boards
Awesome and easy to install. They fill the entire void under the doors with a big step so you don’t slip and partially under the bed to allow for easy access for hard to reach items in the bed or toolbox!

Solid running boards
They are exactly the length and style I was looking for. They are also a bit lighter than the old ugly chrome bars that were on my truck before. They are more of a deep satin finish, which is exactly what I wanted to match the "murdered-out" theme of my truck. To my surprise, they are also not slippery when wet, even though they're all metal. Good value overall, but not the best deal in the world considering a couple quality concerns.. First, they feel every bit as strong as advertised. Double mounting brackets work nicely - almost no flex when I step on them, and I'm 255 pounds. But, a few of the small bolts and nuts that secure the actual board to the mounting brackets stripped out with almost zero force. I'm a very experienced auto tech / aftermarket installer, and this is simply due to low quality hardware, not anything I did. Next, the directions are very mediocre at best. Ultimately, I was able to figure out the correct installation.. But when the first side takes nearly 90 minutes, and the second side takes less than 30, it's usually a reflection of poor directions. Also, two of the brackets were mis-labeled. But to be fair, none of those issues were show-stoppers. Overall, I would recommend. Take your time installing, and it wouldn't hurt to run to the hardware store first, and pick up some spare t-bolts and corresponding nuts just in case.
