Auto-Trac. Auto-Trac snow chains feature a patented Automatic Tightening and Centering System. This system automatically adjusts and tightens while you drive! This high impact, self-tightening ratchet system ensures a snug fit and eliminates the need to stop and retighten the chains after installation. With an an aggressive diamond patterned cross-chain design, Auto-Trac snow chains provide better all-around traction performance and a smoother ride than conventional snow chains.

Manganese Alloy Steel Construction. Auto‑Trac cross member links are made of case hardened, manganese alloy steel, allowing them to be shorter, narrower and lighter than conventional cross members. This reduces “fly‑off” during operation and provides more gripping points. The low‑mass “D” cross section of the links also contributes to longer wear because the impact of the cross members on the road surface is reduced and the surface area contacting the road is increased.

ABS and Traction Control Compatible. Auto-Trac provides excellent compatibility with Anti-Lock Braking Systems and traction control systems. Auto-Trac will work with these braking systems so you can maintain control of your vehicle when heavily braking. With Auto-Trac you can drive in winter conditions with confidence.

Meets Class "S" Clearance Requirements. Auto‑Trac will meet Class “S” clearance requirements on SUVs and pickup trucks, as well as normal passenger cars. This is possible because of a highly effective, patented tensioning system.

Simple Installation. The split outside chain with two ratchet connectors allows for easy installation without jacking or moving the vehicle. Just connect the inside cable, attach the two outside self-tighteners and drive. No additional chain tensioners are necessary.

Kit Includes. Each pair of Auto-Trac Chains includes a waterproof, illustrated, step-by-step installation and removal instruction sheet, a pair of plastic gloves and an accessory kit which contains a repair link and wire ties to secure any excess side chain links. Everything is stored in a convenient reusable nylon bag.
