      Description

      RS5000X Series Rear Shock. Rancho is proud to offer the RS5000X Series Rear Shock as a premium performance upgrade for your F-250 Super Duty. This RS5000X Series Rear Shock Absorber will greatly improve the handling performance and ride quality of your ride. Designed for Super Dutys with a 4-inch lift, this Shock is straight forward to install and will work in conjunction with your original factory and aftermarket suspension parts.

      Progressive Engagement Valving. Rancho specifically engineered their non-adjustable Shocks with Progressive Engagement Valving. Progressive Engagement Valving uses progressive rebound and compression discs that engage the valving at lower frequencies, helping to control the energy of motion as the cycle of the shock increases or decreases. This proprietary process developed by the ride engineers at Rancho will elevate the overall handling and performance of your vehicle on and off-road, giving you the confidence you need to put your Super Duty through its paces both on and off road.

      Quality Construction. Manufactured using a gas pressurized twin-tube design, this Rancho Shock features a 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod with a 1-3/8-inch diameter sintered iron piston with in a 35mm bore to provide heightened control. Rancho Shocks feature a larger, 2-1/4-inch diameter shock body that allows for increased fluid capacity to operate cooler with increased vehicle control. The combination of all-weather fluid and low-friction, self-lubricating seals help prolong performance and allow for quicker rebound and smoother compression during the shock cycle. The Shock is completed in durable, white powder coated finish with a red polyvinyl accordion protection boot for impressive good looks and long lasting durability.

      Direct Bolt-on Replacement. Rancho designed their Shocks to be a direct bolt on replacement for your Super Duty’s factory shock absorbers. Please note that an alignment, by a qualified shop, is highly recommended after installation.

      Application. This Rancho RS5000X Rear Shock for 4-Inch Lift is designed to fit 2011-2016 4WD F-250 Super Duty models with a 4-inch suspension lift. Sold individually.
