Upon closer inspection, you’re greeted by a pair of LED lights incorporated into the end caps designed to activate when you open your doors. These lights work hand in hand with the boards’ non-slip textured surface, ensuring efficient and safe access whether day or night.
Resilient Build Quality. These running boards get their durability from premium extruded aluminum beams, which also makes them relatively lightweight and corrosion-resistant. These aluminum extrusions are then precision-cut and finished to exact tolerances for an OE grade fit and finish. The non-slip stepping surface and LED end caps on the other hand are injection-molded to precise measurements from resilient thermoplastic. These assemblies are then buffed to a polished finish providing a classy style.
Practical Install Procedure. Installing these SG6 series LED running boards is a relatively practical process as these utilize factory locations on your truck’s undercarriage as mounting points. No extra drilling or other modifications on your truck are required although you will need to perform some wiring work to power up the LED lights. Also, installation needs just standard hand tools and the included installation hardware to complete.
