These step bars are designed not only to provide reliable protection from trail debris and side brushes but more importantly, to facilitate secure cab and bed access. Each step bar is equipped with high-traction, wide step pads to keep you from slipping on muddy or wet conditions. The 2-piece modular design delivers the same strength and durability as the 1-piece design with a reduced potential for freight damage and significantly lower shipping cost.
Long-Term Durability. To ensure that these R5 M-Series Step Bars can provide a long-lasting service, the 5-inch rectangular steel frameworks were fortified with a black powder-coated finish to resist corrosion and chipping. The injection-molded polymer footpads have high-grip stepping surfaces to provide additional support for more secure foot placement. Additionally, these step bars come with durable mounting brackets to help keep them stable.
Bolt-On Installation. These Wheel-to-Wheel Nerf Side Step Bars are designed for a bolt-on, no-weld attachment to the truck’s rocker panels. The hassle-free installation completes using simple hand tools with light mechanical skills required.
