New AT rear bumper
2017 Ram 1500, 5.7L. Very easy install on a new rear bumper from American Trucks! Disconnected the 4 backup sensors, removed the trailer electrical hookup, and 6 bolts. The quality steel is very good, very comparable to the OEM bumper. The holes for my sensors were spot on. No problems there. Good price and made my truck look a lot nicer from where I backed into a pole.

Looks great almost OEM fit.
The new bumper looks great. The local body shop commented that the holes for the electrical plugs were not exact and required some modification. Also, the side of the bumper needed to be brought into the body so it did not protrude. Overall, I would recommend it but be prepared for light modifications.

The plastic fit was horrible
The plastic step and cover did not fit correctly at all. It was warped and pulled away from the chrome bumper. The trailer wiring receptacle would not even fit into the hole because the plastic was blocking the cutout partially. The license plate lights were loose in the cutouts. Extremely poor quality.

Looks great and installed easily!
I got and open box option. It was great. A couple little scratches that will buff out. Installed in about an hour with beer breaks. Highly recommend this especially if you're replacing a chrome bumper.

Insanely poor- stay away from American Trucks
This is a really bad bumper. The plastic step was misshaped with huge gaps between it and the chrome bumper. The snap fittings were jerry rigged with body screws. After one salting the bumper started rusting in seven places. Now halfway through winter and its rusting all over. CS said they can't help other than to give me a discount on buying a new bumper.
