Thankfully, Crown Automotive’s RAM 1500 Manual Transmission Input Shaft offers you a direct replacement for a worn or broken shaft.

      Made to Last. Built to be a direct replacement, this shaft is made using tough steel that can handle the rigors of the trail. It’s also designed to meet existing OEM standards, giving you a like-for-like replacement that restores smooth vehicle operation.

      Professional Installation Suggested. Though the shaft itself is fairly easy to install, the task requires the removal of several parts to access the OEM shaft. This is a fiddly process requiring knowledge of several aspects of your engine, meaning professional installation is recommended.

      Covered By Warranty. Crown Automotive offers a variable warranty that lasts for either 1 year or 12,000 miles. It covers any issues you may have with material and manufacturing defects. The warranty expires based on which of the above milestones you hit first.

      Application. The RAM 1500 Manual Transmission Input Shaft is made to fit the 3.7L and 4.7L models of the 2002-2004 Dodge RAM 1500. It’s only compatible with vehicles that have manual transmissions.
