Description
Exceptional EGT Sensor Replacement. Prevent issues like limp mode and check engine light activation, poor emissions, and overheating with this Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor; Before Particulate Filter. This exhaust gas temperature or EGT sensor is configured to replace your truck’s malfunctioning counterpart before its particulate filter, keeping it in tip-top shape. Moreover, this sensor comes with an exhaust bung repair kit to refurbish an exhaust bung hole that requires removal.
Tenacious Build Quality. This exhaust gas temperature sensor assembly is composed of a sensor designed to install before the particulate filter and a harness that attaches to its electrical supply. This sensor in particular is machine-formed to OE specs from a premium metal alloy, offering superior durability and reliable performance. Additionally, the harness features an automotive-grade plastic connector molded to exact specifications, ensuring easy connection with your factory terminals. Also, the sensor features a natural finish.
Direct Install Procedure. This EGT sensor installs directly into your exhaust without the need for modifications. However, there may be instances where the factory sensor has seized into the exhaust bung hole. If this occurs, you will need to have the factory bung hole cut out and repaired using the included repair kit.
Application. The Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor; Before Particulate Filter fits all 2014 to 2017 3.0L RAM 1500 models.
