      Description

      Keep Track of Your Coolant. If your Coolant Temperature Sensor is on the fritz, your engine control unit has no idea what’s happening to your coolant. That creates problems with your vehicle’s fuel injection and ignition timing systems, meaning you have a problem to fix. Fortunately, Mopar is here with its replacement sensor, which is made to the same specifications as your stock sensor. Make the switch, and your engine control unit will be able to figure out what it’s doing again.

      Long-Lasting Construction. Mopar makes this Coolant Temperature Sensor using tough and reliable brass. This solid metal material can withstand the constant changes in temperature that occur in your engine bay, allowing the sensor to provide accurate readings. This part comes with a natural finish and does not require painting.

      Direct Installation. Minor mechanical knowledge is needed to install the Coolant Temperature Sensor. Your stock sensor is located near the front of your engine block and may require you to remove some other components to access it. Minor wiring is required to hook the sensor up, though this should be a predominantly plug-and-play experience.

      Backed by a Limited 1-Year Warranty. Mopar covers the Coolant Temperature Sensor with a 1-year warranty that guards against factory defects.

      Application. The Coolant Temperature Sensor is made to fit the 2008-2011 models of the Dodge RAM 1500. It also installs into RAM 1500 vehicles built between 2012-2025.
