Spacer was needed
The brackets sit almost level with the hood of the truck. So, I had to add a 1" spacer to my light mount to lift it up. Otherwise, I would just be shining it on the hood and losing most of it's function. This has nothing to do with the mounts, but if you have a light that sits flush to the mount or if you aren't able to add a spacer your lights may not look and work as intended.

Can’t beat it for the Money!
These Putco accent lights are just as described. For a quick accent add to your trucks appearance these will go a great job. Otherwise be prepared to spent 2-300 plus for a full replacement headlight kit. I am not quite there so these fit the bill.

Perfect fit
The only thing that is wrong is that it is for a 32” light bar and not a 20”. I put a 32” curved light bar in and had to trim the 2 fins slightly on the cold weather shutters due to it being a curved bar.

Putco 40” curved
This is a decent light bar with good output. Purchased because of its low profile and excellent fit on a behind the grill installation. It arrived with the wire jacketing pulled loose from the housing. I sent description and photos to American Trucks and Putco. Didn’t receive a helpful response from either. Putco suggested repairing myself because they didn’t have another unit to send out. American Trucks response was sorry your product arrived damaged.
