This rear brake rotor and pad kit comes with advanced features that work to provide your RAM 1500 with the stopping power you need for more involved driving like hauling and towing. Additionally, this rotor and pad kit can handle the extra weight of the larger wheel and tire combos, making it ideal for off-road-ready trucks.
Brawny Cast Iron Rotors. This kit utilizes one-piece rotors that are precision-cast from high-grade iron for extreme durability. The rotors are then machined and balanced, ensuring smooth vibration-free performance. Finally, these components receive a brawny silver zinc finish for maximum corrosion protection and awesome looks.
Cross-Drilled and Slotted Rotor Design. Another factor that gives this kit its clear braking advantage is its cross-drilled and slotted rotor design. Specifically, the rotors’ beveled cross-drilled holes work to cool the rotors, thus helping prevent brake fade. Likewise, their directional slots help sweep away brake dust and gas, improving brake pad bite. Together, these features work to ensure consistent braking under any situation.
Advanced Z36 Carbon-Fiber Ceramic Brake Pads. This kit also includes a set of advanced Z36 brake pads featuring a carbon-fiber ceramic braking compound. This specially formulated compound is designed to offer superior braking by being highly resistant to heat. When combined with the kits’ rotors, you get consistent stopping power even through rapid braking cycles.
Low Dust and Noise. Aside from superior stopping power, the pads’ advanced carbon-fiber ceramic compound is also formulated for minimal brake dust to keep your wheels cleaner. That being said, please have a bottle or two of DOT 3 or 4 brake fluid, as well as high-temperature brake pad lubricant handy.
