Tough Cast Iron Rotors. This kit includes a pair of rotors that are precision-cast from high-grade iron for superior strength. Additionally, these rotors are similarly precision machined and mill balanced to achieve smooth vibration-less operation. Finally, these rotors receive a genuine silver GEOMET coating inside and out. This advanced coating keeps the rotor corrosion-free for years while also giving them a sporty look.
Smooth Rotor Face Design with Internal Vents. The rotors feature a smooth factory-style rotor face, providing the brake pads maximum surface area for a superior bite. Additionally, the internal vents work to keep the components cool. This ensures reliable fade-free braking performance.
Progressive Z17 Carbon-Fiber Ceramic Brake Pads. This kit also includes a set of Z17 brake pads equipped with a novel ceramic braking compound. This specially formulated compound offers superior bite when compared to stock for improved stopping power. Additionally, these pads are more resistant to heat for consistent performance.
Low Dust and Noise. The pads’ ceramic braking compound is also formulated to produce low dust, minimizing the time needed to clean your wheels. Additionally, these pads come with a chamfered and slotted design similar to stock. These design elements, when combined with the pads’ dual-layer rubberized shims, deliver lower noise levels for quieter operation.
Efficient Install Procedure. This rear brake rotor and pad kit is designed to mount onto your truck using the factory rotor and pad locations. No modifications to your vehicle are needed. Also, installation is completed using just standard hand tools. You will however need a bottle or two of DOT 3 or 4 brake fluid, as well as high-temperature brake pad lubricant.
