This front and rear brake rotor and pad kit combines an OE design with specialized features to deliver improved stopping power over stock. Moreover, the rotors utilize a genuine silver GEOMET finish that adds a distinctly high-performance look to your RAM 1500’s wheels.
Rugged Cast Iron Rotors. This brake and rotor kit’s included rotors are manufactured from high-grade iron, making them extremely rugged. The iron is then precision cast before being machined and mill-balanced. The result is a pair of rotors that offer vibration-free braking. Lastly, the rotors are finished in genuine silver GEOMET coating inside and out, ensuring maximum corrosion protection and awesome looks.
Smooth Rotor Face Style with Internal Vents. In keeping with this kit's OE design, the front and rear rotors come with a smooth rotor face style. This style provides the brake pads with the optimal surface area for maximum engagement. Also, the rotors’ vented design helps keep the rotors’ temperature down, reducing the likelihood of fade.
Innovative Z17 Carbon-Fiber Ceramic Brake Pads. The brake pads that are included in this kit are a set of Z17 brake pads. These pads utilize a unique ceramic friction material that’s formulated for excellent bite. This brake pad material is also more resistant to heat, providing reliable braking.
Reduced Dust and Noise. Apart from offering excellent braking, the pads’ ceramic braking compound also generates less dust. This means you don’t have to clean your wheels as often. These pads also feature an OE-grade chamfered and slotted design that works with their dual-layer rubberized shims to provide reduced braking noise for a quiet ride.
No Frills Install Procedure. This front and rear brake rotor and pad kit replaces your RAM’s factory counterparts without the need for specialized modifications. Similarly, installation requires just standard hand tools to complete. Please note that installation may require a bottle or two of DOT 3 or 4 brake fluid, as well as high-temperature brake pad lubricant.
