Review shared from OMAC Top Roof Rack Cross Bars; Black (19-25 Ranger)
Decent for short trips, don't recommend long ones!
Took these racks for a solid test run driving Oregon to Arizona and back with two 22 foot outrigger canoes (20-30 lbs. each) attached to carrier cradles. They made most of the trip with several pull-overs to check on tie downs, etc. On the way home, some slippage occurred tearing some door seal and scratching paint off. After retightening, all was well until a full lateral slip out occurred a short while later sending my canoes flying upward, but thankfully remaining attached. These racks are clearly not built for this kind of use. Overall, decent lower budget option, but having pro-installed/mounted racks might be better for any serious hauling and/or travel.
