Ring gear and pinion
Man this is a huge upgrade for my little 4.2v6 f150 it almost pulls as hard as an v8 just with this simple upgrade.

Perfect Fit
Fits perfectly on my 2004 F150 FX4 with the 9.75in rear end. Solid as a rock and will work with the manufacturer bearings, seals, and lugs.

bad fit
To start the box had a big "made in China" sticker on it when I got it in, which was disappointing. That would have been nice to know before buying, but I was still going to use it. The problem is, the outer pinion bearing doesn't fit (I guess b/c it is made in china lol). I haven't started my install yet but I sure as heck am glad I checked to make sure the outer pinion bearing fit before taking everything apart. The inner pinion bearing is pressed on, the outer is supposed to just slide on. I tried two different bearings and had the same problem. I will reach out and see how American Trucks handles this and update the review once it is resolved.

Stout axle shaft
A nice middle ground in terms of strength and price. Stronger than stock but with out chromoly price. The dual bolt pattern was a nice option allowing the use of stronger 14M lug studs as I will be switching to a 37" tire size and it'll be sweet knowing beefy lug nuts/studs are holding it all together. If your a stock tire kind of person then the factory replacement wheel studs will also fit just fine. Unfortunately the majority of this part will almost never be seen but the center bore does have a nice emblem in the center of it. Never twisted an axle shaft, with any luck these shouldn't be the first.
