Description
Navigation/Entertainment System. Upgrade the factory radio found in your 2016-2018 GMC Sierra 1500 to a state-of-the-art touch screen navigation/entertainment system with a Navos Generation 5 T-Style Radio. This Navos Gen 5 System features a 12.1-inch HD touch-screen LCD display with a factory style dash bezel that maintains an OE-Style appearance. With the Android 9.0 Pie operating system this nav unit is not just a larger display, it also includes iGO NextGen Navigation Software, AM/FM Tuner, Multimedia Player and PhoneLink capability. This Unit was designed to retain the factory Bose System (requires part number TS-GMPUBSADPT) and factory OnStar.
iGO NextGen Navigation. The Navos Navigation System is pre-loaded with state of the art iGO NextGen software. (There is a $150 activation fee.) iGO NextGen provides voice and visual turn-by-turn directions to any destination in North America with an easy to follow full screen display. In addition, iGO includes 2D and 3D modes, as well as topography and 3D building views for major cities.
Entertainment System. This is not just a Navigation Unit. This is a complete Multi-Media Entertainment System that plays all your music and video files via USB connectivity. This Navos Navigation System also features a built-in high quality 4x45 Watt amplifier with equalizer and digital signal processing for clean undistorted sound. The included digital AM/FM Radio Tuner with RDS, 12 FM presets, 6 AM presets, plus My Favorite Stations will allow you to listen to all of your local AM and FM stations. This Entertainment System can also operate as a WIFI hotspot for downloading apps and web browsing.
Android App Compatible. Seeing that this Navos Multi-Media Entertainment System is Android powered it is compatible with all the popular Android apps available on the Play Store, including Google Maps and Waze for traffic, as well as Spotify, Pandora, Netflix and literally thousands of others.
Twelve-Inch Touch-screen Display. The original factory equipped navigation screen is small and can be hard to read. To fix this embarrassing issue, Navos includes a significantly larger, 12.1-inch LCD capacitive anti-glare Touch-Screen display, making it much easier to read at a quick glance.
PhoneLink System. Featuring PhoneLink System technology, the Navos Navigation/Entertainment Unit is both Android and Apple compatible so you can pair your mobile phone or device wirelessly to the system. This enables you to have hands-free control for making calls or streaming music over your car's stereo. Supports Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto.
Retains Back-up Camera. For safety and convenience, Navos includes the needed input to retain your factory 360 back-up camera's functionality. The camera will operate exactly the same as before and will automatically activate when the vehicle is shifted into reverse. The only difference is your view will be on a much larger and easier to see 12.1-inch display. This unit also has the ability to support additional aftermarket front, rear or right cameras.
If Equipped. If your vehicle is so equipped you have the ability to display your factory parking sensors on screen, as well as on screen / touch screen climate controls.
Additional Features. Other note worthy features include are 64GB of memory, 4GB of ram, HDMI Out, 5 Volt RCA Preouts (Front, Rear, Sub), 3 USB inputs (1 factory input, 2 auxiliary), TOSLYNK Optical Output and BT 5.0 with APTX Loss Less Music Streaming.
Application. This Gen 5 12.10-Inch T-Style Radio with Bose Adapter for Full Screen OE-Style Radio Upgrade is designed to fit 2016-2018 GMC Sierra 1500 models.

- This Radio may not be compatible with other brands of aftermarket CANBUS devices such as tuners, start stop bypasses, OBD devices, speed calibrators etc.

Pretty Nice
I enjoy the size of the screen and the responsiveness of the touch screen. There are a ton of options in the unit but I got this for Apple CarPlay. This unit has wireless and wired connection. Both work pretty well, however a WiFi connection was required for the initial setup. Since then I haven’t needed WiFi to connect CarPlay. Down side is that I have the Bose system and had to buy a $350 adapter which was not included. The shop had it on hand however and was able to finish installation. I would like to note that the audio quality has taken a slight hit. I’m not sure if it’s from CarPlay or the Novas system itself but I have had this experience in the past with other systems I used in other cars. Something about CarPlay just takes away the hit of the bass. I also prefer the wired connection over the wireless because there is a slight crackle while using wireless. Again, I’ve had this same experience in the past. Overall I’m happy with it and I’ll get used to the audio difference in time. A couple pointers for setup on iPhone: Bluetooth works like normal, search for the device and add it. CarPlay requires a WiFi connection for initial setup. There is no Zlink app to download on the iPhone. The app is only for the system and will connect to your phone after initial WiFi connection. Wireless CarPlay uses Bluetooth and auto connects. The bottom menu scrolls. That’s where you can find your settings and more apps.

Better than expected
Everything about the radio is awesome. The only complaint I have is the microphone doesn't work. I was told by AT that it had to be installed by a local dealer. Well they did a great job of installation but now my microphone don't work and they said I have to go through AT to schedule someone to look at it.

Great product but one thing missing.....
I love this edition to my truck it looks great and works great. The fact that American Trucks set up the place and time for me to have it installed was top notch! However, if you have a SiriusXM subscription you will have to buy a separate tuner and have it installed with the head unit. Unfortunately just because it says SiriusXM on the unit itself does not mean that it will work out of the box. I was not told that I needed this tuner at the time of install!! So now, I either have to purchase the $153.00 tuner and pay to have it installed, or just run my Sirius from my phone. I'm one of those people that if I have paid for all the options then I'm using all the options.

Works and responds great it took me a bit to fighurr out the witing harnesses but with a little bit of patience its no big deal. Works great has carplay and many other features like netflix intagram etc.

Great product.!
Purchased this Radio to upgrade the existing unit in my Ford 150. Very happy with how it looks once installed very smooth clean lines. Offers so many features. Huge improvement from the factory radio that was in the existing vehicle. Delivery of the radio was very quick and hassle free would definitely recommend this product to anyone.

Quality great but didn't fit
The overall quality of the product felt great but when I went to install it did not fit the obd2 port on my 2018 xlt f150, despite it saying that it was compatible. I cannot say anything bad about it except I was looking forward to using it and couldn't. Though, I could not install it, it would only take a few minutes to complete in my opinion.

I love this new device. It gives truck a modern updated style and look. The only bad thing was the bottom of the screen was cracked during delivery but other than that it is amazing.
