Step bars

I love love love my side step bars. I am short and it helps me get in easier.

Incorrect manufacturing made installation a pain

The driver's side step bar went on perfectly, but the passenger side bar brackets were welded on incorrectly so the holes wouldn't align properly. Had to do some modifications to make it work, which was easier than going through the arduous return process and having to go without steps for at least a couple weeks while we waited for a new set. Not pleased with the product or the customer service at Extreme Terrain.

Good product. Find instruction on your own

The shipping was fine and I’m satisfied the the nerf bars. They didn’t come with physical instructions. I scanned the qr and landed on videos that weren’t necessarily what I wanted. Just link a written instruction and maybe the video

Wrong Fit

Ordered and installed these on a truck a few years ago and they looked great so wanted them for my Jeep. Pictures were deceiving. They aren't textured, scratch easily, and are much bulkier than I anticipated. Configuration said they would fit, however the driver side (because that's what side I look at regularly) isn't lined up right and there's gaps on the front back and side. Looks really strange - definitely disappointed with the product. The delivery was quick though!

Extremely Sturdy/ Well built

This side step bar installed easy. Looks great. And seems to be built well and sturdy. Doesn't give or move when used. Only thing is it comes with a QR code for install but it was linked to a different vehicle. Pulled it back up on the extreme terrain website and watched their install video. Took about 1 hr for bothsides by myself to install. Keep everything hand tight until the end for smooth install/ alignment.

Decent enough budget friendly option

The finish seems decent. No abnormalities right out of the box. Go easy on the included hardware. I stripped out one of the smaller fasteners. Time will tell how they hold up but they went on easy enough and they fit nicely. I’m about 200 lbs and they do flex a bit when I put my weight on them.

Good buy

Very easy to install, you just have to set one end up on a jack or box. The full price is high, but they will price match. I love the look but I wish the step was slightly deeper. They were shipped in very good packaging, but apparently they are rough on them before they are boxed up because one had small scratches not from shipping. Not noticeable but someone should be more careful. Overall happy with purchase.
