Easy install!
Install was super easy the hardest part was trying to figure out which hose goes where since one of them has a 45° angle to it and the other is straight. The one with the 45° goes on the front! It looks and feels like a good quality material. Some people say the tubes that screw in are plastic but they aren't, it's actually aluminum. Would recommend.

Easy Install Nice Quality
Impressed with the quality of this catch can, very solid all the way around. Installation was really easy too, got it installed in 30 minutes. Time will tell if it catches any oil, but I took it off just to see after about 50 miles and it was dry but smelled of oil so I'm sure there will be some buildup after some more miles.

It works great
I don’t give it 5 stars because I really wonder if the engineers that designed this actually use them. draining the watery oil on the turbos don’t seem like a good idea I miss the valve on my old one this is a #8 allen wrench that is cumbersome to use

Difficult Install but functional
After doing research about oil catch cans I decided to purchase one for my 2.3l ecoboost ford ranger because it is direct injected. I went with this one specifically because it was in the middle of other options price wise. From reading other reviews I heard that the hoses included have been prematurely breaking down on many peoples' units, many people citing the heat from the engine being the problem. I called Mishimoto's customer support wondering if this has been addressed. They said it has not, and stated they think it could be due to varying ethanol contents in fuels. I ended up purchasing some heat shielding from my local autoparts store, and soaked the hoses with silicon lubricant, so I'll see how long it lasts. This install is way more difficult that the online installation video will make it seem. I highly recommend taking the extra 20 minutes to jack your truck and remove your driver side tire, it will make life way easier (figured this out the hard way). While trying to remove the stock pcv hose, i accidentally broke the grommet that holds the red pcv elbow down (part # 1S7Z6A892AAA), and had to order another one. The can itself was easy to setup and mount in the engine bay. After driving for the first ~175 miles, i checked the can and there was a decent amount of content in there (see photo), seemed like a mix of water and gas, not much oil

Good piece of mind
Everything looks good and felt good. The video instructions has the in and out lines swapped but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out. No direct increase in performance but its a nice peace of mind thing and its not like its hurting anything.

Mishimoto Oil Catch Can on 2023 Raptor
Hello, I decided to purchase the Mishimoto dual oil catch can for its ability to connect to both banks of the engine to ensure any oil blow by is captured in the cans and not consumed by the engine. Please note that this is a 21.5-23 kit which doesn't involve a pcv switch like the earlier models. The only difficulty you will have with is removing the factory driver side tube which doesn't use a simple push to release clip. the orange clip will require a small pick tool to get underneath in order to release the tabs. please be patient so you do not break these clips. Other than that, this kit is very easy to install. Installation took me about 1hr. I like to save all OEM parts in case you ever decide to switch back before resale. This kit has an excellent fit and OEM look when complete. Being in the fabrication/ machining business I can tell that Mishimoto took the time to make this a quality kit. The price for this kit will pay off in spades knowing that you will no longer have to deal with oil consumption or finding a way to drain your intercooler leading to preventable issues. I typically change my oil every 4k miles which would be a good time to empty and clean your catch cans. I hope this review helps everyone out there who may be on the fence on spending a little extra for an oil catch can. We pay a lot to have these nice trucks, so to spend a little more to have no doubt the system will work is worth every penny. Tools used: 10mm deep socket, ratchet with small extension, small 90-degree pick, 15mm wrench, 17mm wrench, 20mm wrench, 2.5mm allen key, flat blade screwdriver, patience. Cheers!
