This intercooler kit is designed to replace your factory intercooler and its pipings with a system optimized to deliver maximum amounts of cold air to your engine. The result is more complete fuel combustion for leveled-up power and torque.
Superior Design. This Mishimoto intercooler kit features an intercooler with a core volume that’s 46% more extensive when compared to stock. This intercooler is then paired with free-flowing plumbing for a 24% less restrictive design. What’s more, the intercooler’s external fin surface area is 49% larger than stock. These factors translate to larger volumes of colder air delivered to your engine, which is responsible for its leveled-up performance.
Brawny Aluminum Build Quality. This Mishimoto intercooler’s core and end tanks are manufactured from premium aluminum alloy, making them extremely durable and lightweight while also providing more efficient heat exchange. Additionally, the cast aluminum end tanks are expertly TIG welded onto the core, offering added rigidity and excellent overall performance. This system’s intercooler pipes are likewise made from 2.83-inch wide aluminum tubing and are completely mandrel-bent to get rid of turbulence-causing areas along its inner surface. Lastly, these pipes receive a black powder coating while the intercooler receives a silver powder coating for a stylish contrasting look.
Direct Install Procedure. This intercooler mounts into your Ranger using its factory intercooler location as its installation point without the need for drilling or other modifications. Also, installation is completed with just standard hand tools and the included hardware.
