Great product

Bought this for my 2011 Ram 1500. In the mountains a lot and this cooler drastically makes a difference in keeping your transmission cool. I spent the extra money for a performance cooler and it delivered.

Only a 10 degree difference

Everything went together perfectly the fittings hoses cooler and sandwich plate are very good quality. I know this is a small unit I mounted it in front of the radiator and trans cooler on my 2016 ram 1500 5.7, I live in Ny so I didn’t want a huge cooler as I feared moister collecting in the engine as I was worried about the truck not reaching above 180 oil temp before I get to work every morning. This is a custom install not a direct bolt on, all in all I’m happy and I can always go bigger next time.

Shipping and receiving was fast. Less than a week from tapping to order. Install was like an hour or so. Very easy. Connected it to my AC condenser. Works like they say. Vegas temp has been in the upper 110s degrees and I’ve been driving daily in this extreme heat. Ram temp all day was lower than normal.

The fix

These trucks get pretty hot. One of the issues I've been struggling with especially since I got the tuner was how hot the truck got. I would get a cel every other day whenever I laid on that peddle. This bad boy fixed most of it. Just make sure all your fittings work before you start removing stuff, especially with AN fittings (get the proper tools/equipment).

Transmission cooler

This is a quality unit. I am very pleased with the kit. It keeps the trans temperature down. It was overall pretty simple to install and the kit came with pretty much everything it needed to install. The only complaint I would have is 1 of the cooler hoses could have been a pre bent hose to prevent kincking other than that better instructions provided would've been nice as well. The company says it takes about 2 hours and I had it done in about 1 1/2 hours taking my time
