This turbo downpipe features a 3-inch wide free-flowing design that’s engineered to enhance exhaust gas velocity. By doing so, this downpipe enables your turbocharger to spool faster, producing boosts in power and torque you can feel. This extra power and torque can certainly help pull you out of tough situations both on the trail and track.

      Fierce New Sound. Not only does this MBRP turbo downpipe give your truck added performance for the track or trail, but you also get a fierce new exhaust sound. In particular, this downpipe gives your stock sound a low-end growl that sounds downright scary when accompanied by the distinct hissing turbocharger sound. With this new sound, you’re bound to intimidate the rest of the pack come race day.

      Reduced Heat. This turbo downpipe also comes factory installed with a high-efficiency heat wrap, which also helps with performance. Specifically, heat wrap works by keeping the heat from the exhaust gases confined to the turbo downpipe. This, in turn, helps further enhance exhaust gas velocity. Also, this wrap helps lower ambient engine bay heat which is highly beneficial for any electronic components.

      Heavy-Duty Build Quality. This turbo downpipe is crafted from high quality aluminized steel for maximum strength and durability. This downpipe is then mandrel-bent to eliminate any turbulence-causing areas on its inner structure, ensuring maximum exhaust gas velocity. Rounding out its construction is a high-temperature black coating that offers added thermal management.

      No-Nonsense Install Procedure. Installing this MBRP turbo downpipe is a relatively no-nonsense procedure that does not require any modifications to your vehicle. Also, this component is designed to install into your truck’s factory downpipe location with just standard hand tools.

      ECU Re-Tune Recommended. Providing your Silverado’s ECU with a re-tune after installing this turbo downpipe is recommended. This is because its larger design means a greater volume of exhaust gas is delivered to your turbocharger which can register as a check engine light. Also, an ECU re-tune will optimize your truck’s performance to your new downpipe, allowing you to fully take advantage of this upgrade.
