      Description

      Maximized Turbocharged Performance. Get maximum performance out of your Silverado 2500 with the MBRP 3-Inch Installer Series Turbo Downpipe; CARB Certified. This turbo downpipe features a less restrictive design to allow faster exhaust gas. This in turn enables faster spooling of your turbocharger to take your power and torque levels to greater heights.

      Menacing New Sound. This MBRP turbo downpipe will also transform your stock sound into a deep, menacing growl that’s sure to make the hairs on your neck stand – and intimidate your fellow motorists. Now your truck’s exhaust sound possesses the same attitude as its improved performance.

      Reduced Heat. To further improve performance, this turbo downpipe comes preinstalled with an efficient heat wrap. This heat shield works to keep heat confined inside the downpipe. This ensures the exhaust gases are always hot, reducing turbo lag. Additionally, this wrap helps keep ambient engine bay temperatures down to help protect more sensitive electronics.

      Robust Build Quality. This turbo downpipe is manufactured from high-grade aluminized steel for superior durability and improved corrosion resistance. Moreover, this downpipe is completely mandrel-bent eliminating any turbulence from along its inner structure. Rounding out its construction is a specialized high-temperature black coating that offers some more insulating properties.

      Convenient Install Procedure. This MBRP turbo downpipe is designed to install into your truck’s factory counterpart’s location without the need for modifications. Also, this component includes all necessary mounting hardware for convenience, and installation is completed using just standard hand tools.

      ECU Re-Tune Recommended. This turbo downpipe features a diameter that is larger than stock. As such, it may alter how your ECU reads air flow, resulting in a check engine light. Consequently, an ECU re-tune is recommended, also because re-tune will optimize your truck’s performance to your new downpipe.

      CARB-Certified with CARB EO Number D-763-2. This turbo downpipe is CARB-certified with EO number D-763-2, making it fully 50-state street legal.
