Review shared from Max Trac Adjustable Rear Flip Lowering Kit; 5 to 6-Inch (07-18 Sierra 1500)
Great kit
Quality parts. Took a little bit of work all by myself, but is doable in a weekend. Truck came out looking great. My truck is 4wd, so did not need a t-case mount spacer, and don’t have any vibration issues. Lowered the front 3 inches with adjustable McGaughys struts.

So you wanna get low...
Its a good kit for the money spent. The flip itself takes a few hours, IF YOU DONT RUN INTO PROBLEMS- broken leaf springs.... I unbolted my u bolts and the middle spring literally fell out in 2 pieces. An extra $900 for 2 leaf springs hurt ALOT, save yourself the pain and inspect your leaf springs BEFORE starting install or ordering the kit. I did the flip in my driveway with a good impact and some wrenches and A GOOD BREAKER BAR. I had a hella time getting the leaf hanger bolt through the new hanger bracket and make sure you pay attention to which bushing is where on stock springs- bushings are 2 different sizes! Patience, a well placed sledge hit and a tiny bit of grinding will solve this issue. The hardest part of the install was after the flip- mounting the hanger to your frame in the stock location- i was about 1.5-2" away from lining up the holes on the bracket to my frame. Easy solution- before mounting leaf hanger bolt through bracket n spring.... Hold the bracket in place and measure from top of bracket to the bed floor under truck. Grab some good hard wood and cut to 5"long and maybe add 1/8th" to the measurement you took. Once your wood is cut, place on top of new hanger bracket, slide pivot bolt through spring place nut on fender side and get a jack about 5" INFRONT OF THE REAR AXLE and jack it up till the holes line up. Get bolts in and tighten to spec. I had my axle almost right up to the frame on stands, to allow room for the leaf to move freely. The directions were a bit wierd and confusing. I received the kit in 2 boxes, each box had similar instructions but different kit numbers... just go to max trax.com find the kit you ordered and there are great color pictures so you can actually see what is what in the pictures. I did run this flip with no c notch for a week and had ZERO frame slap and i live in northern central VT, our roads SUCK!!. Decided to install the c notch anyways- i already bought it, why not.. Also, do your homework and pick out appropriate rear shocks as the length of travel will change, stock shocks will not work. I chose the Belltech nitro 2 drop shocks- specifically designed to work with a 5-7" rear drop. My only complaint about the ride- yes i knew it was gonna be harder ride but DAMN, those new leaf springs are ROUGH to say the least! They are mellowing out after a few weeks of driving thank god! All in all im happy with it. Install wasnt too bad for a home mechanic with proper tools and knowledge, in the driveway. Im running it at the 5" setting, as i still want winter functionality without having to climb under and change mounting points or add shackles. I did not have to use the included tranny spacer, no vibrations, no diff leaks, no noises. Oh and one more thing to realize- YOU WILL NEED TO EITHER CUT OFF THE OUT PIPE FROM MUFFLER OR MOVE MUFFLER CLOSER TO THE FRONT OF VEHICLE. There is NOT enough room for the out pipe to go over the axle if you currently have anything other than exit in front of wheels exhaust. I just cut the pipe 2" from the muffler. No issues with fumes, had to weld a new muffler hanger bracket onto crossmember to support the muffler because i cut off the 2 rear mounts behind the axle. If your truck is old like mine(2012)and a salt belt daily driver... take a few hours and hit everything with a wire brush on grinder, then buy 2-3 cans of rust converter and spray it. After the flip theres not much space to access frame in places so again, save yourself the hassle and do it while everything is apart! Why spend money on this upgrade if your truck is gonna rust away.

Review shared from Max Trac Rear Leaf Spring Axle U-Bolt Kit for 1 to 1.50-Inch Lift Blocks (99-18 Sierra 1500)
1” Lift kit Parts
Haven’t bought yet but appears like this is the way to go on my 2004 GMC Sierra pickup. I want to raise the front 1.5” to level the truck. Then an additional 1”-1.5” lift on the front & rear of the vehicle. I want to do this as economical as possible and I don’t want the truck to look ridiculously high.

Review shared from Max Trac 5 to 6-Inch Adjustable Rear Flip Kit with Max Trac Shocks (07-13 Sierra 1500)
Maxtrac 5-6 adjustable flip kit
This kit is a decent kit for the most part of you’re on a budget. I wasn’t a big fan of the rear shackle bracket. The rear shocks ride a little stiff.
