Description
Integrated Reverse Camera. Made for the Dodge RAM 1500, this Master Tailgaters Tailgate Handle has an integrated reverse camera along with a 26-foot video and power cable. Using 12 volts of input power, this camera outputs an NTSC/PAL signal using a 1/3-inch Sony CCD chip to a 600 TV line resolution covering 170 degrees.
Water and Dust Proof. This unit is IP68-rated water and dustproof.
Installation. Putting this Master Tailgaters Tailgate Handle on your ride is easy and requires no drilling. Vehicles without a yellow RCA cable will require splicing the wire for this to work and a professional installation is then recommended.
Warranty. There is a no-questions-asked 2-year warranty for this Master Tailgaters Tailgate Handle.

The tailgate camera is great, excellent field of view. The handle swaps out with no modification needed. My only complaint is that it is considerably lighter weight than the factory latch.

exactly what I needed
easy to install, running the wire took the longest, but the swap itself was easy. Needed this as I continue to replace the ugly chrome "accents" on my black truck - wish there was an option for just the handle, not the full assembly, but since there isn't this did the job just fine

Nice Handle but Annoyed with Install
The chrome tailgate handle looks and feels great. Build quality appears better than the handle I removed. The camera video is great. My main complaints are about the install. These issues added a bit to the installation time: 1.) Power wire. The 12 volt power supply wire provided is about 2 feet too short. I had to splice in another wire to reach reverse taillight. I didn't want to splice and solder to the wire bundle under the truck bed. Also, the instructions tell you to ground to the chassis but the ground wire doesn't have a ring terminal. 2.) The camera. The hole for the camera should be keyed. It takes a bit of time to get oriented correctly. It doesn't stay in place either. Requires adhesive to secure in place.

The handle is awesome! All metal, no more plastic handles from china that do not last! Installed the handle and had a new Alpine double din 7" stereo installed. The back up camera works perfect! Nice upgrade to my 2004 F150. Outstanding purchase! I highly recommend!
