They're designed to optimize flow for maxiumum power and tuned for the best performance through the entire powerband. Aggressive Exhaust Soundtrack. Kooks knows you don't just want to feel the power: You need to hear it, too. That's why they engineer these Long Tube headers to make a great sound that a simple cat-back system can't equal. You're going to look for opportunities to open up that throttle just to hear that power flow.
For Use with Kooks Connections Pipe. These Long Tube headers are designed to integrate with your factory catalytic and muffler through a simple Kooks Connections pipe (sold separately). That lets you keep your costs to a minimum while you build your rig, while also facilitating emissions compliance.
Solid Construction. Kooks starts with T304 aircraft-grade stainless steel in these Long Tube headers. All curves are mandrel-bent. All welds are precision-crafted. These are quality headers to last the lifetime of your rig.
No Tune Required. These headers are designed to work fine with your factory ECM tuning. Additional power and performance is available with a custom ECM tune, but it's possible engine life and emissions compliance might be affected.
Not CARB Compliant. These headers are not for use in California on any emissions-controlled vehicle. They are legal in most of the remaining 49 states, but check your local emissions ordinances to be sure.
Application. These Kooks Long-Tube stainless headers fit your 2004 through 2008 Dodge RAM 1500 when equipped with the 5.7L Hemi V8. They are designed to be used with a Kooks Connections pipe to integrate with your stock exhaust.
