      Description

      Improves Power and Acceleration. Don't smother your vehicle's potential with a restrictive stock air box. Give your Silverado a dramatic gain in power, torque, and acceleration with a K&N Series 57 Cold Air Intake system. By reducing intake restriction, the engine gets enough cool air so it doesn't use up too much fuel and heat. This also results in increased horsepower by about 9.12 HP at 5352 RPM.   

      No-Tune Level Up. This state-of-the-art air intake works in perfect harmony with the factory system, cutting the need for tuning. You get to keep the factory tune intact and not mess with the computer as you raise your vehicle's power. With this, you can feel the performance enhancement shortly after installation.

      Filtered Air Flow. The K&N cold air intake system provides more airflow without compromising air quality. Its multi-layer cotton gauze filter prevents particulates from coursing through the combustion engine and into the fuel mix. The best part is, the chrome-topped air filtration component is washable and reusable for long-term use.

      Durable, Long-Lasting Construction. This air intake system is constructed with a high-density polyethylene pipe for exceptionally long service life. Depending on driving conditions, this K&N product can last up to 100,000 miles before it requires servicing. It also has an integrated heat shield that complements its intake temperature reduction performance.

      Installs in 1.5 Hours or Less. The K&N Series 57 FIPK Cold Air Intake is specifically designed to fit right into the air box space with no hassle. Using existing factory mounting points, installation normally takes just 90 minutes or less. It only requires a few screwdrivers and a ratcheting wrench set.

      Million Mile Limited Warranty. The cold air intake comes with K&N's Million-Mile limited warranty that covers material and manufacturing defects. Damages from transportation, storage, improper use, improper installation and maintenance, modifications, unauthorized repair, and normal wear and tear will not be covered.

      CARB-Certified. The K&N Series 57 FIPK Cold Air Intake is certified by the California Air Resources Board with CARB EO No. D-269-28.

      Application. The K&N Series 57 FIPK Cold Air Intake fits 1999-2004 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 models with 4.8L and 5.3L engines.

      Technical Note. The K&N Cold Air Intake is not designed for vehicles equipped with a Body Lift.
