Torque and Horsepower Boosting CAI. The more air gets into your 2009-2010 F-150’s engine, the better (within wide limits), and the K&N Series 57 FIPK Cold Air Intake creates a potent indraft that gets the combustion fires burning hotter and more thoroughly in your truck’s engine. That translates to benefits like better throttle response and a few more miles per gallon of gasoline. But most of all, it means more torque and horsepower across the whole rpm spectrum – peaking at around 4,600 rpm with dyno-tested improvement of +12.5 horsepower and +11 ft-lbs. This intake lets your truck catch its breath and work even harder.
Works with the OE Tune. The K&N Series 57 FIPK Cold Air Intake is designed to fit right into your F-150’s engine without the need to fuss over aftermarket tunes or adjustments to the ECU. The stock computer tune will do the job and let the Series 57 run at its intended level.
Aluminum-Strengthened Washable Filter. Made up of layers of red cotton gauze, the filter element in the K&N Series 57 FIPK Cold Air Intake is buttressed by two layers of epoxy-coated aluminum mesh embedded inside. Depending on how dirty the environments are you drive in, the filter can go up to 100,000 miles before you need to clean it. After washing, it can be reinstalled repeatedly – the fabric is also dry and oil-free.
High Construction Standards, American-Made. The K&N Series 57 FIPK Cold Air Intake is centered around a high-density polyethylene tube, which is cross-linked and manufactured via rotational molding for superior strength and durability. The free-flowing design has unrestricted bends that don’t crimp the air flow. The heat shield is also made from polyethylene, injection molded in this case. The component is USA-made and comes with 6 stainless steel clamps as part of its build.
Designed for the Stock MAF. The K&N Series 57 FIPK Cold Air Intake has a MAF housing made to fit the factory MAF like a glove.
Simple Bolt-On Fitment. You don’t need to drill any new mounting holes or cut any additional space in order to attach the K&N Series 57 FIPK Cold Air Intake. The CAI bolts on in place of the stock intake using the same attachment points, plus its own set of hardware. Installation requires only wrenches, a screwdriver, and a ratchet set.
Million-Mile Warranty. K&N covers all of its intakes, including the K&N Series 57 FIPK Cold Air Intake, with a 1 million mile limited warranty.
CARB Certified for 50 State Use. With a CARB EO Number of #D-269-48, the K&N Series 57 FIPK Cold Air Intake is ready to take legally to the street, road, or highway in California as well as any other locale that falls under CARB rules. This CARB certified part is 50-state legal in the United States. In order to pass inspection in CARB states, the CAI must be set up so that the CARB compliance sticker is visible.
Application. The K&N Series 57 FIPK Cold Air Intake is specifically designed to fit the 2009 to 2010 F-150s equipped with the 5.4L engine. It is not compatible with the 5.4L SVT Raptor.
Technical Note. The K&N Cold Air Intake is not designed for vehicles equipped with a Body Lift.
