      Description

      Reduces Engine Sludge. Prevent the formation of power robbing engine sludge by installing a J&L Version 3.0 Air/Oil Separator on your Super Duty. Blow-by, crankcase exhaust gases, is an oily vapor that re-circulates back through your PCV system and over time will coat the inside walls of your intake manifold and supercharger. Gradually this oily residue will thicken and congeal into a sticky mess better known as engine sludge. However, you can stop the formation of this nasty sludge by installing a J&L Version 3.0 Air/Oil Separator to trap blow-by before it re-enters your engines intake. An Air/Oil Separator, sometimes known as a catch can, is a must have for any F-250 owner.

      Version 3.0. J&L improved on the designed of its old Oil Separator with the introduction of the new and improved Version 3.0. The first big change you will notice is that the Version 3.0 Separator has a larger 3 oz capacity, that is almost double that of their previous model. Another important difference is the filter media. Older J&L Separators used a Ford Motorcraft pre-filter, but now J&L uses a half-inch thick, 1/16-inch aluminum honeycomb filter with a mesh stainless steel screen to trap even more fine oil vapors than before to prevent them from gumming up your engine.

J&L CNC-machines its Air/Oil Separator from a solid block of billet aluminum for superior strength. Designed with a rubber o-ring, this Separator will maintain a tight leak-free seal. The base features a knurled texture, so that it can easily be gripped for removal during routine oil changes. J&L then completes its Catch Can in a durable clear anodized satin finish for impressive good looks and long lasting corrosion resistance.

      Easy Installation. J&L Oil Separator Company engineered its Separator to be installed in under 10 minutes with just basic hand tools. This kit comes complete and includes 2 PCV lines with stock-style quick-disconnect fittings that allow for an easy plug-and-play installation. All the necessary parts are included, with no cutting or extra modifications required.
