JBA Quality. The JBA 1-5/8-Inch Shorty Headers will meet all your performance needs. Thanks to their short tube header style and 1-5/8-Inch-diameter outer tubing, you can expect increased horsepower, mileage, and an improved throttle response. Shorty headers are much less restrictive than stock headers with long tubes, so the JBA shorty headers will significantly improve your engine’s power and efficiency.
Tune Up Your Exhaust Sound. Not only will these shorty headers enhance your engine’s performance, but you will also get a deeper, more aggressive exhaust sound.
Heavy-Duty Features. Made from 16-gauge mandrel-bent tubing, these stainless-steel shorty headers can take a beating. They have a natural finish that makes them resistant to corrosion and extreme under-hood temperatures. The machined flanges are 3/8 Inches thick, so you won’t have to worry about leaking or warping. Thanks to the oversized exhaust ports, you’ll also get an increased flow.
Direct-Fit Replacement. To install these shorty headers, simply remove your stock headers and use the factory-style hangers to mount the JBA models. No cutting, welding, or drilling is required for this installation. These shorty headers come with gaskets and the necessary installation hardware.
CARB Approved. The JBA 1-5/8-Inch Shorty Headers are California EO approved, which means that they have been granted a CARB Executive Order (EO) Exemption.
Application. The JBA 1-5/8-Inch Shorty Headers are made for 2014-2018 GMC Sierra 1500 Vehicles equipped with the 4.3L engine. If you’re concerned about potential exclusions, feel free to check the manufacturer’s website.
Installation Complexity: To install these shorty headers, you need 30 minutes to 1 hour. Some basic mechanical skills are required, as well as standard tools.
