It has been engineered for use on the Sierra 1500 5.3L trucks to help increase its horsepower, improve its combustion, and improve its fuel efficiency, all while keeping its engine free from harmful microscopic particles.
Free-Flowing Air and Superior Filtration. The Evolution Air Intake is specially designed to provide your engine with large quantities of cold air. This helps boost your engine’s overall performance. Its filtration system has been designed to effectively keep even the minutest harmful particles from entering the engine.
Durable Construction. This cold air intake utilizes a roto-molded cross-linked polyethylene intake tube. This makes it impervious to cracking for long-lasting use. Meanwhile, its filter is made out of a specially designed SuperNano-Web dry material which can be reused without washing or re-oiling.
Quick and Easy Installation. This air intake is designed with OE-quality and fit for easy installation. It bolts directly in place of your truck’s factory intake system. Installation usually takes 90 minutes to complete.
Protected by Warranty. Injen backs the Evolution Cold Air Intake with a limited lifetime warranty against defects in material and workmanship. This excludes damage caused by improper use and installation.
Not CARB Certified. This cold air intake and filtration system is currently not CARB certified. It is not for sale in California and illegal to be used in states adopting the California emission laws and regulations.
