      Description

      More Air for More Power. Increase the power and performance of your 5.3L 2014-2018 GMC Sierra 1500 by installing a HPS Shortram Cold Air Intake. By replacing your Sierra's restrictive stock factory intake with a high flow filter assembly you will see and feel a noticeable increase in rear wheel horsepower and torque. This HPS Intake not only improves airflow for an increase in power, but it will also add a show winning appearance to the engine bay with its bright red powder coated intake tube.

      No Tune Required. HPS engineered their Shortram Cold Air Intake to improve the performance of your Sierra without the need of reprogramming your computer. By utilizing flow dynamics, this Intake will increase power using the original factory tune. Even though a re-tune is not required for operation, AmericanTrucks recommends a custom tune to reprogram the vehicles computer (ECU) to get the best possible performance from this Cold Air Intake.

      Washable, Reusable Air Filter. The included high flow HPS Performance air filter effectively filters out power robbing particles with its multi layer design. The specially treated media creates a sticky surface to capture microscopic contaminants before they can enter your vehicle's engine and do harm. Seeing that the filter is reusable there is no need to buy a new filter every few thousand miles. You can just clean the filter, re-oil it, and reinstall - saving yourself money in the long run.

      Quality Construction. Designed with a high flow, 3.5 inch mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube, this HPS Shortram Cold Air Intake features race proven reinforced silicone hoses and industrial grade 100% stainless steel t-bolt clamps to ensure rugged durability, even in the most extreme driving conditions. A heavy duty, powder coated steel heat shield is included to prevent hot under hood air from entering the filter.

      Simple Bolt-on Installation. HPS designed their Shortram Cold Air Intake kit to be a direct bolt-on replacement for the factory intake. With no special tools or extra modifications required installation can be completed in under an hour. All parts and detailed instructions are included.

      Two Year Limited Warranty. To ensure the highest quality of their materials and craftsmanship, HPS backs their products with a 2 Year Limited Warranty. Some exclusions may apply, please see manufacturer's warranty for complete details.

      Not CARB Certified. This HPS Shortram Cold Air Intake is not CARB certified, therefore it is not legal for use in California or other states adopting California emission standards. Not legal for use on pollution controlled motor vehicles; not intended for highway use.
