NICE IMPROVEMENT IN CORNERING
Replacing the OE sway bar with this is a huge difference in ride cornering. The OE bar seems like its a hollow piece of metal, it is very light and seems flimsy. This bar is beefy, has some weight to it, makes a nice 'clunk' when I tapped it on the floor, its 100% more than what the OE sway bar is. This came with all the hardware, bushings and a small tube of silicon grease. Install was very easy, straight forward remove and replace. I used the center of the 3 holes when I installed. While I was at it, I replaced my sway bar links to a little heftier set. The ride quality, I really did not feel any difference as far as stiffness on the straight drives. BUT, when you hit some of those curves is where you know this is a huge improvement. I know, its a truck, not a sports car, but I immediately knew there was improvement going around corners. The truck feels more responsive and I can control it better on some curves that I drive on almost a daily basis. Makes driving a little more fun. I dig it. You wont be dissapointed with this.

What a difference !!!!
I just got back from a test drive after I installed a hellwig rear sway bar in my truck. Night and day difference in the handling. The rear end felt like it was floating before, now it is planted solid on the road. When going over a bump in a corner, the rear end would jump sideways before, not now. I have way more confidence in corners now. The new bar is solid steel while the stock one is hollow tube. If i could only do one upgrade to the truck, this is the one I would go for !!! Thank you American Trucks !!!

Incredible upgrade!
I replaced my factory rear sway bar with this Hellwig and set it at the most aggressive setting which is the holes closest to the axle. The stability in corners and curves is a massive upgrade and I feel so much more in control of the truck. It greatly reduced body roll. Compared to the OEM it's heavier and larger in diameter. I do have Core 4x4 upper and lower rear control arms and sway bar end links. Highly recommended for better handling. Easy install.

After talking to the Helwig tech, I purchased the sway bar, it fit perfect and took about 3 hrs to install. I think being careful about the adjustment took me an hour but I wanted to get it right. I put it on the 1st hole and I really notice a difference, my truck handles great stability and eliminated the body roll. It did affect the ride quality it made it better. it can be set on a stiffer position but for my needs the softest feels great, I highly recommend it towing or not,

This is a great upgrade fixed the issue i was having ,my truck has a leveling kit and 37 inch tires causing a bit of body roll on the highway.

Nice Addition
Install was pretty straight forward. Only thing is it is a tight fit on the axle as i have electric parking brakes and the driver side sway bar connection is pretty tight in that area. Sway bar helped with the body roll in corners.

better ride
A big plus when hauling a heavy load in the bed in a cross wind. It does take away some articulation when going off road due to the added stiffness, so I will have to fab a quick disconnect strut for one side. this is on my third powerwagon and its my second Hellwig rear sway bar.
