Awesome upgrade!
Very well built, great looking replacement for my rusted out original bumper. Hit some snags with original bolts not being long enough, but overall the hardest part was getting the old one off.

Unique, Agressive Look
I love the look of this bull bar. I wanted something that would be different, stand out, and provide an agressive look and this certainly fit the bill. Had a little bit of trouble getting the passenger side support bracket to sit flat and all 8 screws that attach the bar to the mounts to line up, but if you wait to tighten the support brackets you should have the wiggle room you need to get everything to sit the way it needs to. Wish it came with the covers (separate add-on from Hammerhead) to "plug" the light holes. For these reasons I have to give it 4 stars.

Can't go wrong Hammerhead Armour
Let me tell you I know people with iron cross bumpers, that want this one. bumper is so we'll built. All the welds, are perfect not a single defect. Looks great on the truck!

Bumper looks great, feeling really protective around all this steel. The truck really stands out, so many looks and comments. I love it. Doesn't deplete has milage and only weighs a tad more than factory. Just ordered the rear to match. Thanks American trucks for the great service.

Built like a tank
Purchased this bumper to replace the 1st one I damaged by being stupid. This thing is like a tank. Had the work done by the Stingray Chevrolet Body shop in Plant City Fl. that took care of the body damage that I also caused. This thing is beautiful and gets so many compliments from people it's almost embarrassing. If you need a bumper for a winch or not then get a Hammerhead, they are built to take it.

Great Bumper with a minor flaw
This is a great bumper. Heavy duty, nice finish, looks great on my truck. Well built with heavy duty shackle eyes and the mounting points and hardware designed to take the load. The one flaw I found is the steps in the ends of the bumper. The top of the step overhangs the bottom. When you put your foot into the step and step up, the top of your foot is stopped by the top of the step and if you aren't expecting it you will be forced to abort your step and fall back to the ground to avoid breaking your foot. On the installation time - if you have two people it should only take 1 or 2 hours. I did it myself and it took most of an afternoon. It is a heavy bumper.

Hammerhead XSeries Awesome Front Bumper
Hammerhead X Series looks great and provides protection over the entire frontend. Covers more area than other bumpers I have tried. Needed to protect against Wildlife and Highway debris after replacing two bumpers that were less in cost but more in down time and replacement time. Hammerhead went BIG!
