GFB Bov
The GFB BOV is great! Easy install as long as you can get the inter cooler inlet tube back on. Mine was fu%#ed up so had to situate a fix but not anything to do with the GFB part. The sound is cool but very prevalent so be ready.

Very content with this purchase but there was one small hiccup in the installation video posted with this item. when it comes time to install make sure you remove the factory o ring from original product. other than that the installation was very easy following the video.

Well made blow off valve.
I upgraded my intercooler to a Mishimoto unit and installed the Go Fast Bits blow off valve at the same time. The valve works well and definitely lets you know when the engine comes off boost by the moderately loud (audible inside the cab, but not annoyingly loud) pssst sound. You can disconnect your stock diverter pipe to get an idea of the noise, though this valve will be a little louder because it has no muffler. Note that if you use this B.O. valve with an aftermarket intercooler you may need to make your own bracket to secure the valve. The nice bracket that comes with it will not work with the Mishimoto intercooler. It's not a big deal, just need to make small L bracket to secure it.

Complete upgrade from stock
Yes, you can plug your recirc tube and essentially have the same effect. However, the factory hard plastic one will eventually give, providing a boost leak and potential hours of troubleshooting and/or replacing expensive and labor intensive parts. Cast aluminum is durable and light, instructions are clear on removal and installation, design is ?? service friendly which counts a lot for me as I do most work myself. Things like designing the mount to fit a certain way which the BOV is pointed correctly are amazing touches. Bought a gfb for my mk6 GTI in the past and had an excellent experience that time as well. 10/10 will buy from them again. Sounds awesome, does the job it's supposed to.

Amazing product and quality parts . Easy to assemble with everything included . Replaced the original waistgate and gasket for a 2099 engine code , was happy with the upgrade , to clear my codes and be building boost again with more aggressive sounds
