Each component, including the 8.25-inch ring gear and 30-spline pinion, is designed to work perfectly day after day. Installation. The process should take an experienced mechanic about four hours.

Application. This Yukon Gear 8.25 in. IFS Front Ring Gear and Pinion Set with a 4.11 ratio has been designed for all 2007-2013 GMC Sierras.

Technical Note. 2010 Vehicles equipped with a 8.25 IFS Front ends and factory 3.08 gear will need a new carrier when changing ratio. When purchasing 3.42 & up gears for a factory 3.08 application you must also purchase a YC G26018131 case with it. Deck Height with 3.08 Ratio 1.780” Deck height with 3.42 & up Ratio 1.920”.
