Save yourself the hassle of finding different peripheral components that would fit your new set of ring and pinion gears. This kit features top-of-the-line components starting with the bearings and races. It also comes with a complete set of shims in various sizes to ensure that you have the right combination to achieve the perfect amount of backlash and clearance between gears.
Timken Bearings. The G2 8.25 in. IFS Master Bearing Install Kit comes with bearings and races manufactured by no less than the world’s leading bearing company, Timken. They include pinion and carrier bearings, along with the attached races. These patented roller bearings ensure even distribution of load and stress giving bearings a longer service life.
Differential Assembly. Your differential assembly is one of the more complicated parts of your truck. A modification would need special tools and equipment for servicing. That’s why it’s recommended to leave the installation of your ring and pinion kit to your trusted mechanic even with the G2 Master Bearing Install Kit on hand.
