It has an oval design and a reversible internal flow design, so you can choose which direction to install it in.

Enhanced Exhaust Noise. This muffler creates a mild to moderate interior tone. It’s surrounded by a high-temperature sound-absorbing inner material, which allows for impressive sound control. The sound it offers is superior to the chambered muffler noise.

Durable Steel Construction. This muffler is constructed using fully MIG-welded “bright” 409 stainless steel. Its high-flow straight design allows for excellent performance. It has a 3.50-Inch inlet and a 2-50-Inch outlet, along with a FlowFX logo embossed on both sides of the muffler.

Direct-Fit Replacement. The Flowmaster muffler is the perfect replacement for your stock unit, so you probably won’t be required to modify your vehicle. The required installation hardware is included in the kit.

Application. The Flowmaster FlowFX Center/Dual Out Oval Muffler has a universal fit, but it might require some modifications on your part. Note that this muffler is only permitted for racing use, and it can only be installed in emissions and non-emissions-controlled vehicles.

Installation Difficulty. Installing this muffler can be a challenge if you don’t have any mechanical experience. It takes between 1 and 2 hours, depending on your mechanical skills.
