Convenient Carrying Solution. The Fishbone Offroad Hitch Mounted Cargo Basket is what you want if you’re looking for a convenient and temporary cargo carrying solution. This cargo basket is designed to mount into your Silverado 2500’s hitch receiver, enabling you to carry more equipment for everything from the job site to the campsite. Specifically, this hitch-mounted cargo basket comes in at 40 inches long x 19 inches wide x 5 inches tall and is capable of carrying up to 500 pounds. This design, when combined with over 90 strapping or tie-down points, translates to exceptional cargo-carrying capacity. Best of all, this cargo basket can be removed as easily as it was installed.
Heavy-Duty Build Quality. The hitch-mounted cargo basket gets its impressive strength from its 0.125-inch plate steel construction. The plate steel is then laser-cut and machine-formed to exact specifications, ensuring a precise fit when installed. Its support brackets for their part are manufactured from heavy-duty square tubular steel, providing the assembly with exceptional performance. Finally, this assembly is finished in a chip-resistant textured black powder coating for a bold style and superior corrosion protection.
Fast Install Procedure. This hitch-mounted cargo basket is designed to mount into your 2-inch hitch receiver without the need for modifications. Just insert the cargo basket and its support bracket into your receiver and secure it with your hitch pin. You will need to assemble the cargo basket and its support bracket using the included hardware before installation. Also please note that the hitch pin is not included.
Application. The Fishbone Offroad Hitch Mounted Cargo Basket fits all Chevrolet Silverado 2500 models.
