Provide your Sierra 1500 with a hitch accessory that offers efficient access and added protection with the Fishbone Offroad 2-Inch Receiver Hitch Mounted Step and Skid Plate. This hitch device features a unique design that allows it to work as a step for easy truck bed access and as a skid plate for when you’re climbing uphill. Specifically, this component features a heavy gauge steel plate attached to a standard 2-inch hitch receiver shank. This steel plate is then formed to include a high traction stepping platform on its top surface and an angled skid plate on its lower section. Additionally, this hitch accessory features an all-black style to give your truck a brawny style accent.
Hardwearing Build Quality. The hitch-mounted step and skid plate starts as thick high-grade steel plates, offering hardwearing performance. The steel is then machine-formed to exact specifications before getting fully welded for superior strength and an accurate fit when installed. Meanwhile, its step platform and skid plate features precision-cut tractioned slots and the Fishbone logo respectively. Finally, the whole assembly is finished in a tough textured black powder coating for awesome good looks and exceptional corrosion protection.
User-Friendly Install Procedure. This hitch-mounted step and skid plate is designed to install into your truck’s 2-inch hitch receiver just like any other hitch accessory. Simply insert the accessory’s shank into the receiver and secure it with any standard hitch pin. And when not in use, this hitch step and skid plate combo is just as easy to uninstall for easy storage. Please note that hitch pins are sold separately.
