Description
Made from high-quality rubber. The guards are made from EPDM rubber, preferred over the typical polyurethane rubber for its better resistance to cracking and aging. It’s also known for performing better when exposed to ozone, UV rays, and oxygen, and for being more resilient than polyurethane despite having the same flexibility.
Well engineered. The guard’s engineering is up to snuff. As an end user, you can be rest assured everything will be working exactly as hyped. Even more interesting is that the barb hooks you’ll be using to attach the guard to your RAM's ProLink will come with the precision machined slots already installed. Read this bearing in mind that the barbs used are designed to allow for multiple removals and install cycles, which in turn make the guard a snap to both mount and dismount.
Easy to mount. Majority of RAM owners live with the misconception that hooking their recovery winch with a typical screw pin shackle is the most secure way they’ll be using it. But even with that, the few seconds that make the difference aren’t worth the security risk you’re likely to realize while using the standard winch hooks.
