Description
Dee Zee Transfer Tanks - A safe and convenient means for transporting non-flammable liquids. Steel, protected by white NRT(TM) (No Rust Technology) rust inhibitor powder coat finish. Radius curve design eliminates key weld pressure points. Feature stability baffles, lockable cap, 3/8 in. drainage plug, and venting coupler. Tanks are intended for private use (non-commercial). Not designed for use as an auxiliary fuel system. Not for use with gasoline. Does not meet title 49 of the United Stated Federal Registry.

Nice addition
One of the first things I added to the truck, had one on my F150 and definitely wanted to add it back to my F250. The only issue I ran into on the 2023 they have a bottle opener on each side of the tailgate that has to be removed for this install.

Nice upgrade!
Well worth the money and 15 minutes it took to install. Release the tail gate latch and allow the cylinder to gently lower the tailgate for you. When done, simply close as usual with less effort.

Works as described, just loud!
The tailgate assist works very well, and was easy to install. The only thing that I want expecting was how loud the shock is as it let's down the tailgate. I'd they had a way to minimize that, it would be worthy of 5 stars!

Really Lightened the Load
My 2012 F250 Super Duty has a very heavy, steel tailgate. It was a toss-up deciding whether it was harder to close it or to open it, because either way you needed to hold the full weight of the tailgate, usually with both hands. About a half an hour and a couple of weird screws later, I just pop the tailgate open and let it fall, gracefully, open without dislocating my wrist. A+

2022 6.7L V8 Power-Stroke F-250
Took 10 mins to install simple and really works. Follow instrcion and you will not have any issues. Make sure you only pull on bolt out like instruction say are you will be having to agline Gate.
