Description
EAS Shift-On-The-Fly. Edges' EAS Shift-On-The-Fly allows you to change between custom tune files on the fly utilizing an Insight CS2 or CTS2 (not included - sold separately). You can now easily monitor and switch between tunes on the screen of your Insight device as driving conditions demand, this is ideal for those who use their truck for work, towing and daily driving. The EAS Shift-On-The-Fly accessory was designed to replace a physical switch that would normally require cutting or modifying your truck's dash.
How It Works:
- The EAS Shift-on-the-fly accessory, when connected to your Insight CS2 or CTS2, will control your tune levels for vehicles requiring a switch to control the power levels.
- Switching occurs by changing voltages between 1v, 2v, 3v, 4v, 5v. Most custom-tuned vehicles run within these parameters.
- Wire or plug the switch in just as you would your normal Shift-On-The-Fly (SOTF) or Driver-Selectable-Tuning (DST) switch. Then, flash the tune into your vehicle that enables the SOTF/DST functions.
- Enjoy changing your power levels right through the Insight CS2 or CTS2 screen!
Technical Note: The Duramax EAS accessory plugs into the ECM. Only controls tuning levels that change voltage resistance through ECM pins. Also, must be plugged in as instructed with ground and signal wires.
Application. This Edge EAS Shift-On-The-Fly Accessory is designed to fit 2011-2016 6.6L Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD models.

When I first made my purchase I could not wait to receive my order and get it installed on my 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500HD 6.6 DuraMax. The day it came I opened it up and got it installed. First I got the need to update message so I ran back to my office and got the update installed. Now I put it in, followed the directions, but nope, error message. I got frustrated right up until I called the support and they went way over and above what I would have expected. Support told me that I had purchased the incorrect model (gas not diesel) however he could help me out. He got the SN# from me and told me to plug in back into the computer open the app and wait for the download that he had set up for me to start. So I did and it took a little while but he got the gas program off and the diesel installed. Once it was complete, I went back out to my truck and it installed flawlessly. I set it to performance mode and holy sh*t! What a HUGE difference! I was a bit of a skeptic prior to this, but now I’m a believer for sure! First and foremost I want to thank Edge for being awesome, second I have to say that if all else would have failed (but it didn’t), edge came through in the support department. They have an excellent product and superior support and I’m really happy that I bought this unit. I’m now pushing 500hp and over a 1000flb of torque.

I really like this product. Very easy install. Changes throttle response greatly. I can also tell the difference in the shifting. My main thing was to bypass or disable the MDS.

Overall good product
Easy to install and has detailed instructions. I bought this to disable DFM and start/stop. It did the first but the engine still cuts off sometimes at stop lights even when that feature is disabled.

No more DFM!
It was a little quirky when I first installed it. The blind spot lights in the outside rear view mirrors would turn on/flicker even when no one was next to me for the first 30 minutes of driving. Once while I was driving when I canceled my cruise control it went into its selection mode. I had to push the cruise "on" button to get it to clear. Worth it to deactivate DFM in my opinion.

The tuner works great, easy to install. I have it paired with a full 5 inch race exhaust and a cold air intake. The power is noticeable and fuel mileage jumped from 13 more or less to 18.3 city on the lie-o-meter.

Wish I would have known about this baby a long time ago. Must have if you have active fuel management. Truck now stays in V8 at all times I know not bulletproof against lifter failure but 100x better on your truck to have it installed. Also the easy adjustment of throttle control is super cool. Forget the price install and thank me later!

I did have a problem to start by receiving a damaged product, but the team for edge pulsar is excellent. They helped figure out the problem and get me a new tuner ASAP. Since using the tuner the modes are perfect. For the most part this winter I have used the eco mode because it works great in the snow. Performance mode makes a huge difference. It truly wakes the truck up and allows it to use every bit of power your hemi has!!!!
