Description
The UK EFI Bristol factory of EBC Brakes has used new ECO friendly technology to develop a brake pad that has unusually high friction levels yet still has good manners for street use with brake effect being strong from cold when the brake is first applied. The race pedigree of the material used also guarantees effective stopping up to temperatures exceeding 1400 F well above the maximum experienced in heavy braking, towing or downhill descents. Winter testing in Ohio on a fleet five popular light trucks showed us the proof on cold braking in the worst wet and cold conditions where many performance brakes would not even start to show good brake effect. So these are pads that have an extremely wide range of usability. The new carbon granule based Extra Duty material is also rotor friendly, minimal in dust and noiseless and each set is supplied with revolutionary NUCAP piston insert shims, another first from EBC

Perfect replacement upgrade
Great brakes. I waited the suggested mileage before “seating” the brake pads. I would suggest not doing it the 6-8 times, just do it until the smell them, otherwise you may burn the rotors.

These pads feel very nice. I am still within my first 1500 miles so they are pretty dusty. Hopefully this subsides after a couple of months

EBC rocks
These pads offer excellent fit and function. Very noticeable improvement over oem pads and the dust is equivalent to oem, which is impressive since they perform better. American Trucks had a fair price and shipped quickly! Over all an excellent choice using American Trucks and EBC!

Quality product
These pads provided noticeable improvement vs factory pads and other aftermarket pads. Purchased because these pads were not made in China thus paying more than other options. I have the EBC Yellow on the front of my truck and they also are superior than others I have utilized in the past.

What a difference!
I've used EBC on many built trucks. It is always one of the first, easiest, things to improve. I thought my factory brakes where pretty good for a heavy truck. The is switched to all EBC! The difference is amazing. Integrates perfectly with ABS. The truck stops fast and controlled! Pretty simple install - I chose to paint the calipers while I had it apart - painting took longer than swapping the rotors and pads - maybe 2 hours all in waiting for paint to dry...
